Wondering what iPhone games to look out for this year? Here are the top three most anticipated games for iPhone.

1. Assassin's Creed: Utopia - This version of Assassins Creed was supposed to be released in December 2012, but has been pushed back. Still no word on when it will be released, but definitely sometime this year. Utopia, which is a prequel to Assassin's Creed 3, will be set in the 17th century at the very beginning of the American colonies, and will play through over a century and a half of colonization. Apparently assassins influenced helped shape the thirteen colonies long before they helped those same colonies gain freedom from the British. Whatever the story specifics, it sounds like fun. No word on if the gameplay will be any different/evolved from the last Assassin's Creed mobile game, but judging from the promotional pictures, the graphics are much improved

.

2. Real Racing 3 - This next game in the Real Racing series is going to be great. Besides being based on its successful, highly playable predecessors, Real Racing 3's Developer's Diary on YouTube revealed recently that some of the racetracks in the game will be based on famous real racetracks, like the Indianapolis Speedway and Mount Panorama in Australia. Plus the Game footage looks gorgeous. No definite release date is known yet.

3. The Drowning - It's not often you get a mobile game with a good enough backstory to fuel a series of sci-fi movies, but you will with The Drowning. This gorgeous-looking game takes place a decade after the real-life weird event of New Years Day, 2011, when 3000 blackbirds fell from the sky, dead, over Arkansas. Remember that? Well according to this game, that's when everything started going downhill. Besides having a great plot, this game looks amazing, and promises to take mobile first person shooters to the next level. The Drowning's official website has the tagline, "The End of the World is a Beautiful Thing." Judging by this preview, it sure looks like it.
