Kate Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts have been cast for actor Alan Rickman's second feature film "A Little Chaos."

The Daily Mail has revealed that Winslet and Schoenaerts are in negotiations to star in the film that Rickman has been attempting to make since 2007. The script is written by Alison Deegan and tells the story of rival landscape gardeners who are both commissioned to create a fountain at Versailles by Louis XIV.

Rickman stated that he has been location scouting, revising the script, and trying to cast the film. He claims that now "he's found his two leads and everything in the garden is looking rosy."

Kate Winslet reunites with Rickman whom she starred with in the 1995 Oscar winning film "Sense and Sensibility." Winslet next stars in "Movie 43" and later this year in Jason Reitman's "Labor Day." Schoenaerts is currently starring in the acclaimed French film "Rust and Bone" alongside Marion Cotillard and reunites with Cotillard for "Blood Ties" later this year.

Alan Rickman made his feature film debut in 1997 with "The Winter Guest." Rickman next stars in Lee Daniel's film "The Butler" as Ronald Regan and the British comedy "Gambit" alongside Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz.

Filming is set to begin in the spring with more details to be revealed later this month.
