"Silver Linings Playbook" actress and Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence is set to open up 2013 with her very first Saturday Night Live hosting gig, along with musical guest The Lumineers, for the show's first episode of the year.

Lawrence, who recently won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy and is nominated for an Oscar, just appeared in a promo for the sketch comedy late night show with cast member Jason Sudeikis. The 22-year-old actress showed off her best comedic chops during the two-minute-long video.

In the video, Sudeikis congratulates the starlet on his first Golden Globe win, "Hey congratulations on your Golden Globe...I have never been nominated before." She then proceeds to shower the SNL regular with compliments to make him feel better. "Well you should be. You're really funny. You're a really good actor, you're grounded, and you listen. And you're very handsome...Should I stop?" she says.

But Sudeikis then catches her mid-trick and responds, "Oh wait a minute, it's opposite day today isn't it?" Despite Lawrence's, "No," the bearded funny man storms off saying, "That's a yes, that's a yes, F---, I got roped in!"

The hilarious promo also makes references to Lawrence's acceptance speech at the Globes and her role as Katniss Everdeen in the highly popular series "The Hunger Games."

Lawrence will host SNL this Saturday, January 19 with musical guest The Lumineers.

Next week, 'The Voice' coach and Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine will host alongside musical guest Kendrick Lamar.
