Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt has arrived, packed with plenty of loot for your eager vault hunter to track down. As the third DLC for Borderlands 2, 'Big Game Hunt' is the first to take place after the conclusion of the single player campaign and requires players to reach level 30 before unlocking its quest lines. 'Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty' and 'Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage', the first two downloadable releases, were both accessible to gamers regardless of their level.

So, what's new? For starters, new environments include Hunter's Grotto, Candlerakk's Crag, Adorton Station, Scylla's Grove, Lodge, and the Savage Lands. Aside from new loot, the trademark of the franchise, 'Big Game Hunt' also features a new villain known as Professor Nakayama. GameSpot reports that the new areas will be populated by "wetland drifters, spores, armored boroks, scaylions, scaylion queens, savage warriors, witch doctors, and a new team raid boss called the seraph guardian."

The DLC is now available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC for $9.99, although players willing to purchase the Season Pass bundle for $29.99 will gain access to four content packs, which covers the last release due out in June as well. Overall, the Season Pass discounts $9.99 off of the final price for Borderlands 2's array of DLC, as opposed to buying each pack individually.

Check back with Latinos Post for updates on the final Season Pass DLC, which will reportedly raise the level cap above 50 at long last.
