A UPS delivery driver is under arrest, after being caught on video stealing an iPad destined to be a Christmas present for a little girl.

Al Alverson had ordered two Christmas presents, both of which were scheduled to be delivered on the same day: an iPad via FedEx and another present via UPS.

That night, the iPad was nowhere to be found, but FedEx said it had been delivered. Then Alverson checked his home security camera.

At 9:45 a.m. the FedEx driver approaches the front door, checks his delivery manifest, and after determining no one is home, leaves the iPad in an inconspicuous place on the front porch.

But at 1:51 p.m., the UPS driver arrives. He drops off his package and leaves, but after two minutes he returns and grabs the original FedEx package delivered in the morning.

He checks the label, likely to confirm that it's an Apple product, and walks away with it.

At first, Alverson contacted UPS, who denied that their employee had stolen the iPad. But then he uploaded the video to Youtube. Once the evidence started getting attention, UPS listened.

"The temporary helper who took a package from the doorstep of a customer has been terminated for his actions. We are disappointed, as what happened does not represent our 400,000 UPsers who deliver millions of packages every day with pride and integrity. We have resolved this situation with our customer, and they are now satisfied," says a post on the video claiming to be from Annee Millman of UPS Social Media.

Reports say the UPS delivery driver was a temporary seasonal worker who has been fired and charged with theft.
