Roman Reigns pulled through as expected against Sheamus at WWE Raw even with guest referee Vince McMahon in the ring to make the match pretty much one-sided.

Despite the odds, Reigns was able to outwit the WWE chairman and his cohorts to which another twist has been added to the equation.

With the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble fast approaching, Reigns will be there of course but not to defend the title against one man. Rather it will be against possibly 30 other men with the WWE heavyweight title on the line when the battle royal takes center stage per WWE.com.

The devious move marks the first time that the WWE title will be on the line. The last time that happened was in 1992. At that time, the Royal Rumble took place at the Knickerbocker Arena in New York which saw Ric Flair winning it all when he eliminated Sid Justice with some help from Hulk Hogan.

While that move by McMahon is an interesting one, it is also a risky one. Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble last year but everyone knows the backlash that transpired after that. It was actually the same WWE PPV that forced the company to work on Reigns and now they are teetering on a scenario which could imperil the established character of the Big Dog.

One thing that seems obvious is that Reigns will most likely end up winning it all per the Prowrestling.net. But do the fans really want to see that?

If not, someone else like maybe Brock Lesnar could win it all which could set the stage for a rematch at Wrestlemania 32 showdown. Again that offers the question, do the fans want to see another Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns scenario in Texas this April?

How about John Cena? Cena winning the battle royal could be a possibility and probably set up a stage between him and Reigns. That rumor has been going on for a long time so it is possible.

Finally, another scenario many could consider is seeing either Triple H or Vince McMahon himself entering the rumble. They could end up winning it all and set the stage for a title showdown with Reigns most likely at WWE Fastlane or even Wrestlemania 32.

Right now, it seems to blow everyone’s mind on what the WWE has up its sleeve. Reigns winning it against 30 WWE stars seem to be too much, proving how invulnerable Reigns is.

What if the numbers game comes into play? Maybe Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can come in again and make the save – the same way he did in 2015.
