The art in Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead graphic novel has always been in Black and White, and now fans of the franchise will have the opportunity to view all of Season 1 and half of Season 2 in the series' authentic coloring between February and May.

The first two episodes of the recap will kick off on February 14, just four days after the second half of Season 3 airs on February 10, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Season 3 still has eight episodes to go before the season finale, as The Governor and Rick continue to face off against one another.

Andrew Lincoln, who portrays Rick Grimes, notes: "I was fascinated to see [Rick's] breaking point in this season. In the second half of the season, you realize that Rick is this brutal ruthless leader that is uncompromising, so when we hit the Governor there is a match."

David Morrissey, "The Governor," adds: "We start to see the real birth of the governor that people will know really. He really doesn't care anymore."
