There are talks that Quentin Tarantino will be making “Kill Bill 3.” The director said that he has plans for a third movie for the hit action franchise.

“Oh yeah, initially I was thinking this would be my 'Dollars Trilogy.' I was going to do a new one every ten years. Especially in terms with me as a writer, and particularly - also, as a filmmaker - but I'm not anxious about the filmmaking part because if I've written it, that's what I'm going to do", Tarantino told Entertainment Weekly.

He added that the new story may be set in the same “Kill Bill” universe, between the first two films and the third. The previous films focused on Beatrix Kiddo, played by Uma Thurman, who was betrayed and went on a path of revenge to hunt down the organization who left her for dead, the Waltonian revealed. He said that he wanted Beatrix to spend time with her daughter and enjoy ordinary life for a while. Previously, Tarantino mentioned that the plot would delve on the daughter of Copperhead, played by Vivica A. Fox, who is the first of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad that was killed in the first film. Copperhead’s daughter will also be looking to avenge her mother.

Ameripublications cited that “Kill Bill” and “Kill Bill 2” were martial arts films written and directed by the Oscar-winning director. Tarantino stated that there will most likely be a time jump if the third movie materializes, which means that Beatrix will be much older when fans see her next.

Tarantino also took time to talk about the focus on political correctness by society. He said that he does not really think about the issue and clarified that his presence at an anti-police brutality protest does not mean that he is anti-police. He added that he is not anxious because he does not believe that the police is a notorious organization founded on a conspiracy that hurts citizens.

In the meantime, Tarantino fans can look forward to his next movie, “The Hateful Eight,” which will be limitedly released on Dec. 25, 2015 and shown all over the United States on Jan. 8, 2016. “The Hateful Eight” stars Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen and DemianBichir. The movie was filmed by Tarantino in 70mm.

More updates and details on the possible production of “Kill Bill 3” are expected in the coming weeks.
