Wondering what to give your loved ones this Christmas? Perhaps their Google search habits can clue you in on the perfect present.

Google recently unveiled a list of the top searched gifts based on Cyber Monday's deal hunting rush, which can give you ideas on what people - and probably even those you're planning to give presents to - want to get this season.

Among toys, drones reigned supreme, while Shopkins, hoverboards, Lego Dimensions, and the "Star Wars" BB-8 Droid rounded out the top 5 must-have playthings.

Drones take the cake - which is not surprising as they've surged in popularity in recent years and has become pretty much inexpensive and widely available.

Also, it's not hard to see why hoverboards are desirable as gifts as they look like a tech buff's dream come true. Who wouldn't want to speed up and down the road in two-wheeled gadgets that can fit into backpacks and are so easy to use?

For those into electronics, like the men in your life, smart TVs or smart watches may be the answer. Or wireless headphones or instant cameras. Or "Halo 5," according to Google's top 5 list of trending electronics searches.

"Both smart watches and smart TVs topped our list of trending electronics this year-with 'smart watch' searches seeing a particularly phenomenal growth, up nearly 300% compared to last year," Google said.

If you're looking to give apparel, adult onesies may be your best bet, as well as Adidas Superstar shoes, Levi's Jeans, Shinola watches, or the good ol' bomber jacket.

"Last year 'ugly Christmas sweaters' were all the rage," the news source said. "This year we're seeing holiday onesies are the new kitsch partywear of choice"

Also, it appears 90s style may be making a comeback, considering bomber jackets, Levi's, and Adidas sneaks made it to the top of the heap. Perhaps getting something with a 90s vibe may also earn you a big smile from your recipient.

In 2014, it was noted that Game consoles, tablets, wearable tech, and portable speakers were all the rage in the electronics department, as reported by CNBC.

American Girl, Ouija Board, Paw Patrol, Lego Friends, and My Little Pony were the top searched toys last year - markedly different from this year as most of those in the 2015 list were rather tech-y in nature.

For apparel, Michael Kors watches, Hunter boots, Jordans, jogger pants, and Canada Goose jackets topped the list.
