Roman Reigns needs all the help he can get but the boost that he may actually need could come no less from WWE COO Triple H.

This of course does not come in the form of an alliance but the exact opposite. As we speak, we see that developing right now.

With Seth Rollins out of the picture, Sheamus has become the new top dog for the Authority which just recently got a major facelift with the addition of Rusev and an alliance of the top heel wrestlers that the WWE has to date.

Joining the Celtic Warrior and the Bulgarian brute are King Barrett, United States champion Alberto Del Rio and the WWE Tag Team champions the New Day. Together they now form the faction “League of Nations” which is obviously up to no good.

The new alliance came into being at the last Monday’s edition of WWE Raw, which in all looks a lot like the rebirth of the faction years the WWE had particularly in the WWE era.

But will this move prove beneficial to Reigns?

Reigns has had a hard time climbing to the top though he did achieve that for a couple of minutes at WWE Survivor Series. But the thing is, the WWE needs to further hone his character and get the WWE universe to accept him and not “boo” him which goes way back as the WWE Royal Rumble.

Reigns has obviously become synonymous to a perfect character, someone who comes into matches with the outcome obviously tilted in his favor. And that alone has drowned out any kind of following for the Big Dog and perhaps the only thing left is to prove that he can stand up to one of the best the WWE has to offer.

With word that most of the original matches for Wrestlemania 32 were scratched per Dave Meltzer of F4W Online, a new match involving Roman Reigns and Triple H could happen. But the debate now as raised through the Bleacher Report is on whether that should happen at the annual extravaganza of the WWE or before it (like perhaps the WWE Royal Rumble)?

The most likely scenario is to see the WWE build on that moving forward and make it one of the main events for Wrestlemania 32 which will be held at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

In essence, the rise of the “League of Nations” could be a seed planted for that confrontation. It could be a faction that will technically be a gauntlet of sorts for Reigns with Triple H being the boss enemy (in gaming lingo terms) the cap of it all.

With that said, the faction will ultimately play a vital part in Reigns’ rise which could hint that the Big Dog could be colliding with them head on. Don’t be surprised though if some new alliances crop up along the way, particularly the ones who have beefs with certain members of the “League of Nations” like the Dudley Boyz, Jack Swagger and Ryback.
