“Orsinium,” the second downloadable content (DLC) pack for “Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” has been release for gaming consoles. The new DLC features a variety of content that gives players over 20 hours of added game time.

Orsinium is the ancestral land of the Orcs deep inside the Wrothgar Mountains in the backstory. At the start, players will have to answer King Kurog’s call and be involved in rebuilding the city of Orsinium, while different enemies threaten his kingdom. IGN revealed that the “Orsinium” DLC features new areas, such as “The Maelstrom Arena,” a new solo arena challenge, Old Orsinium, two new public dungeons and Rkindaleft. There will also be several new crafting items, quests for characters, rewards and Orsinium-specific equipment. The Maelstrom Arena lets players take on new challenges or travel to the new public dungeons to battle world bosses, Times of India wrote. There will be new class-specific leaderboards where gamers can contend with others.

The new DLC is the largest for “Elder Scrolls Online” yet, Bethesda shared when it provided details in October 2015. PC gamers were the first to play the additional content when it became available for them on Nov. 2, 2015. Now, “Orsinium” can be played by any player who has an active ESO Plus membership. Non-members can purchase the DLC at the Crown Store for 3,000 crowns. “Orsinium” is the second DLC released by game developer Bethesda for the title. The first one was “Imperial City,” which was playable on both PC and gaming consoles, based on the same IGN report.

PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the new DLC, also referred to as update 1.09, consumes about 9GB of space. The base-game patch is also included in the recent update. There will be updates to the battle leveling and Champion systems. Improvements will also be made on the Imperial City and its dungeons. Other features to expect include subtitles, controller support for PC, shield dyeing and new crafting themes, updates to overall combat and gameplay, user interface and itemization. Bethesda also mentioned that they will be resetting all leaderboards with the current update because of the several new feature and adjustments.

The “Orsinium” DLC is now available for PlayStation4 and Xbox One. Players who get the DLC will also acquire new equipment, crafted according to ancient orc patterns, as well as new costumes and recipes. More updates and feedback about the DLC and game are expected in the coming weeks.
