Although most retailers are pretty much sticking to the usual Black Friday shopping schedule this year, Amazon breaks out of the pack by starting the holiday shopping season a week early.

"On Wednesday the online retail giant announced that it would begin offering its Black Friday deals this Friday, November 20, with deals continuing throughout Black Friday, which takes place on the 28th," USA Today reported. "Similar to the company's Prime Day event in July, Amazon says that new deals will be added as often as every five minutes."

On the midnight of Thanksgiving itself, the online retailer will offer ten deals of the day, with "thousands" of lightning deals on offer on top of that. Some of the said lighting deals will only be accessed via the Amazon Mobile Shopping app. Prime subscribers will be able to get a half hour head start in the hunt for lightning deals.

This year, Amazon revealed it will be shaving off up to 45% on select LG and Samsung TVs.

Here's a list of deals Time Money provided:

  • A 32-inch Samsung 1080p TV for $178.

  • A 75-inch Samsung 1080p smart TV for about $2,000.

  • A 49-inch LG 1080p TV for about $370.

  • A 60-inch "top-selling" UHD TV from an unnamed brand for $800.

  • A 55-inch TCL Roku smart TV for $348.

  • A 55-inch Hisense UHD smart TV for $448 in an app-only deal.

  • A 50-inch 1080p TV from an unnamed brand for $150 in another app-only deal.

  • 2.1-channel VIZIO 38-inch sound bar speaker system, $80

  • Sonos two-room streaming music starter set, $49 off

  • Polk Audio Omni S2 Wireless Speaker, $40 off

  • Denon HEOS 1 Wireless Speakers, up to 35 percent off

  • Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones, 50 percent off

  • Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition over-ear headphones, at more than 50 percent off

  • Jawbone UP3, $99

  • Amazon Kindle Paperwhite, $99.99

  • Amazon Kindle and Kindle for Kids bundle, $30 off

  • Amazon Fire, $35

  • Amazon Fire Kids Edition, $85

  • Amazon Fire TV, $25 off

  • Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote, $15 off

These are just a few of the deals that may be offered during the week-long shopping bonanza. There are others on tech products like printers, computers, tablets, and even memory cards.

It can be observed that Amazon is pushing its mobile app this holiday season as it has included app-only deals for Black Friday. However, only 150 of the lightning deals will reportedly be available on the Amazon app, Tech Crunch said.
