The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro may soon be in the midst with latest word that the device is set for release this coming Nov. 24.

The device was recently spotted going through TENAA in China recently and now all that has been followed up by an event set to take place on the 24th at the Beijing National Convention Center as revealed through MyDrivers.com

Photos of a certain device can be seen on the page though there is no confirmation yet if the one in focus is indeed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro that many are eagerly awaiting.

The next offering to the highly touted Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro will reportedly feature a smooth metal body design capped with a fingerprint scanner that is situated at the back.

This will be a first for Xiaomi in terms of mobile phone design offerings, something that will weigh just 160 grams.

Other specs of the said device include:

• 5.5-inch 1080p display
• MediaTek Helo X10 (MT6795) processor
• 2 GB of RAM
• 16 GB of internal storage
• 13 MP main camera
• 5 MP front-facing camera
• 3060 mAh battery

Pricing for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro has yet to be known though it is believed that the device will likely be priced for about $172 which should be slightly higher than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which is available for about $158.

The scheduled Xiaomi product launch is open for attendance though seats are limited. Tickets are priced at $30 which is presumably a first-come first served basis.

In all, the featured device is close to the Redmi Note 2 though the obvious iterations come in the metal body and the fingerprint scanner.

Again, it would be wise to keep an open mind that the device that would be showcased in the evening may not be the Redmi Note 2 Pro since Xiaomi has been known to do the same in the past.

So with that said, it could be another device coming out and that could be the Xiaomi Mi 5.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 is another awaited device which was earlier said to be coming out on Dec. 3, a week after the Nov. 24 release of the believed Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.

Scenarios could include seeing both devices debuting or only one between the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.

One thing going against a possible Xiaomi Mi 5 release is that the said device will reportedly run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

If so, it is likely that the device can only hit the market by the first quarter of 2016 once the said process is officially launched.
