With most people looking for the best smartphone they can get in the market these days, it all boils down to the actual specs and of course the price you can get your hands on. And of course, everyone knows that you get what you pay for.

Pricing will always play a key role and rarely would you find a smartphone that would be cheap without strings attached. But what if you could get your hands on a $10 smartphone with expectations set at a low note?

You read that correctly and there was no typo, there is a smartphone out there you can now get for $10.

Walmart is offering that seemingly unbelievable deal on their end, a $10 LG Android smartphone that of course has its share of limitations. Here is a rundown on the specs:

• 3.8-inch LCD (480x320 pixel resolution)
• Dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 chipset
• 4 GB of internal storage
• 3 MP rear camera
• 1540 mAh battery
• microSD slot loaded with 4GB SD card WiFi
• Bluetooth connectivity
• Android 4.4 KitKat

Going through the specs, it is obvious that this is one device not made for the demanding smartphone buyers but rather for the ones who are looking for a reliable smartphone that offers the basic perks of voice calls, text messaging and some Internet browsing.

In a manner of speaking, these are the functions that a no frills-attached user would need as long as it serves the main purpose a mobile phone was designed to.

Walmart has two versions of the device – the LG Sunrise L15G and the LG Lucky LG16.

These phones will run on GSM and CDA versions, meaning one should be wise not to expect the LTE and Android 6.0 Marshmallow update hoopla.

For a measly $10, those should be more than enough for people who would want a handy smartphone in tow less the high-end specifications which cost a fortune these days in the market.

The $10 pricing standpoint for the device/s in mention will obviously be a tempting deal to consider. While many may be apprehensive about it, it will not be surprising to find some folks picking one up either for use or for spare phone purposes.

It is not big news but for the older and less tech-savvy folks, this is one phone that fare well with the older generations who could care less about what modern technology-run phones have to offer. No frills just a device that can be used to communicate as easy as possible.
