A new update for “Plants vs. Zombies 2” will become available soon, titled, “Jurassic Marsh Part One.” The fall update became available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play beginning Nov. 17, 2015.

EA announced that “Jurassic Marsh Part One” will feature three new dinosaurs, new prehistoric plants and zombies. The new plants will include primal abilities, such as the Perfume-Shroom and Primal Peashooter than can immediately stun zombies. The Primal Wall-nut will offer cover, while the Grapeshot Premium Plant, available for purchase, will burst and scatter bouncing items that can damage zombies, Gamespot wrote. The three new dinosaurs include a Raptor, which can kick a zombie forward along the lane, a Stegosaurus that can throw zombies into nearby lanes and a Pterodactyl.

There will be 16 levels and fall-themed zombies in the “Jurassic Marsh Part One” update too, including the Gobbler King Zombie, Turkey Zombie and Chefster Zombie. There are 7 new fully-themed zombies that will complete the first part of the update, accessible via “Plants vs. Zombie 2.” There will also be a themed Gargantuar Battle.

Based on the title of the update, there will most likely be sequels to “Jurassic Marsh,” featuring more dinosaurs and prehistoric features to make the game more exciting and fun. The zombies will generally be dead cavemen, while the defensive structures will take on a radical new look.

Furthermore, there will be a huge 12-day event dubbed “Food Fight” beginning Nov. 18, 2015 for the free-to-play mobile game. The event will showcase autumn-themed plant and zombie costumes. Players also get to use a couple of Special Edition Premium Plants, namely the returning Sweet Potato and Dandelion plants.

The game has been downloaded by users more than 100 million times since it debuted, IGN revealed.
