Some Assassin's Creed III Season Pass owners who downloaded the latest DLC, "Hidden Secrets," have reported a save-game deleting bug, reports GameSpot.

Ubisoft community developer Gabriel Graziani  explains that the bug is likely activated when players download Hidden Secrets while loading their game simultaneously. "This appears to be the key trigger for this bug. You can do anything else you want to, just don't load up your saved game and play it while the DLC is downloading."

As far as the range of gamers effected, he assures that "From what we can tell, this problem seems to be rare and should generally only affect a very small number of players. that said, we're taking the speedy and complete resolution of this very seriously."

Hidden Secrets is available to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC players who invested in the game's $30 Season Pass. New missions include 'Ghost of War,' 'Lost Mayan Ruins,' and 'Dangerous Secret'. The DLC also adds new weapons, costumes, and multiplayer characters to the mix. Owners of the PC and Xbox 360 versions will be able to download Hidden Secrets as a standalone pack on December 11, while PS3 owners will have to wait until December 13. Ubisoft promises a Wii U release as well, but has not committed itself to a release date.
