Ever since viewers saw the likely death of "Walking Dead" veteran Glenn in episode 3 of season 6, rumors and theories of his possible survival have not stopped spreading.

Just a quick warning that this article may include spoilers, so readers beware.

According to Hollywood Life, in the latest episode of "Walking Dead" (season 6 episode 6), Daryl (Norman Reedus) calls for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) on the walkie talkie. But what Daryl gets in response is faint cry saying help.

Many are saying that this could actually be Glenn (Steven Yeun). However, could the fan favorite pizza boy survive his last encounter with the zombie hoard?

Vanity Fair reports that there is actually a lot of evidence to possibly confirm the rumor. First off, it is well known that the only other person who has a walkie talkie is Glenn, and he still was wearing it after he and Nicholas got trapped on top of the dumpster.

Reports actually say that the show made it abundantly clear that Glenn still had his walkie-talkie and that when Nicholas fell on him, Glenn fell on the side opposite of the device, making sure it was not damaged when the two fell.

Glenn also had the flare gun still in his possession after the fall, so while it is highly improbable, it is possible that Glenn managed to start a fire with the flare gun and wiggle under the dumpster for protection.

However, Reedus has gone on record saying that the person on the other end of the line isn't Glenn and that fans of the show will soon find out who is asking for help.

At this point, there is no real reason not to believe Reedus. While he did say it wasn't Glenn on the other line, the actor didn't say that Glenn was dead. Perhaps someone found Glenn injured, but still very much alive.

However, it is indeed unlikely that Glenn survived the horde attack. Note that the episode was after Yeun's name was taken off the opening credits, which probably means that the character has finally met his end.

It is kind of sad considering that his wife Maggie hasn't been the same since and with the pregnancy announcement, fans can't help but feel bad for Glenn.

"Walking Dead" airs on Sundays on AMC.
