Roman Reigns may find himself in a fairly similar situation heading towards WWE Survivor Series this weekend so it would be best for the Big Dog to proceed with extreme caution.

Reigns is strongly believed to be the next WWE Heavyweight champion, made all the more imminent with the untimely injury that beset Seth Rollins recently.

Rollins has been ruled out for at least six months, the reason why the WWE had to make last minute changes which came in the form of the WWE World Heavyweight title tournament.

The obvious right now is that Reigns will be one to reign supreme on his bracket (left-most portion) with the right bracket a toss-up between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens.

While Ambrose advancing is a popular choice, the WWE could opt to make it a brother vs. brother affair at the coming pay-per-view to be held in Atlanta.

But the pressure is more on Reigns who has been in this situation before, only to be thumbed down by the WWE fans. This is of course in relation to that celebrated WWE Royal Rumble finale which saw Reigns win the 30-man battle royal.

Reigns was hit for being poor in the microphone and hopefully with months of work (with the help of Bray Wyatt) the scenario right now is far more different. Regardless, however, Reigns will have to make sure he doesn’t foul up and gain the ire of avid WWE fans who are not shy to bare their criticism on WWE matches.

Right now, there are no other WWE stars that seem fit to go head-on with Reigns other than Dean Ambrose. The two are undoubtedly making waves right now and anyone of them is certainly fit to be the next WWE champion.

However, the two are still one step away from officially facing off.

Ambrose defeated Ziggler to advance and faces a formidable adversary in Kevin Owens who could pull off another fast one to spoil the party while Reigns is going up against a reigning United States champion Alberto Del Rio.

The final four cast was made official after WWE Raw and from a standpoint, the outcomes could go either way if the WWE doesn’t manipulate the matchups.

Nonetheless, Reigns is a safe bet to be the next face of the WWE though surprises are not totally counted out at this point. It has happened before.

In the minds of many, Reigns is the heavy favorite of it all. Sadly, that puts him into a whole lot of pressure to come up with something to try and win the WWE Universe’s respect before the big dance at WWE Survivor Series.
