As Apple owners continue to explore and enjoy the perks of iOS 9.1, it may only be a matter of time before iOS 9.2 comes out.

Just recently, Apple has released the iOS 9.2 Beta 3 which is available only to folks who are registered under the Public Beta and Apple Developer programs.

This is the second of the beta versions being released by the Cupertino company which can already be installed on devices such as the iPhone, iPod and iPad.

It remains to be seen what new features the third beta version carries though iOS 9.2 seems to be a minor revision from the previous iOS. It remains to be seen what the third beta release carries since most of the new and worthy features have already come out in previous beta versions.

Here are some of the features to expect for iOS 9.2 thus far.

1. NumberSync service for AT&T. This feature allows users to connect all AT&T devices to a user’s main number. This means that all incoming calls and text messages can be directed to your tablet or wearable rather than just your smartphone. In essence, this expands the options you get as far as making or receiving calls and/or text messages without an iPhone present.

2. Arabic Support for Siri. This feature caters more to the fact that Apple has just recently opened up a couple of stores over in Dubai and Abu Dhabi which should provide support in the Arabic language.

3. Smoother 3D Touch Effects. The pressure issue on the use of the new 3D Touch feature for iPhones has been improved. It seems that the whole issue is tied up with the pixel count difference between phones (i.e. iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus) and iOS 9.2 seems to have been addressed with this build.

4. Improved App switches on the iPad Air. For those who have an iPad Air, one glaring problem could be the App switcher which wasn’t that impressive. With iOS 9.2, this is something that has reportedly been addressed, offering a smoother and fluid when it comes to interface.

5. Improved Swipe Gestures with Safari. For the ones having problems navigating with the Safari browser, iOS 9.2 will make the swipes/navigation faster and smoother. Aside from that, the multiple swipes can reportedly be done as well on quick succession.

6. Improved Viewer Control with Safari. This feature has been improved to allow third party app extensions to support a pop-up Safari window, to account for smoother and better management when browsing.

It remains if there will be more iterations for iOS 9.2 though developers and folks who want to get hold of it can do so (assuming you have registered with the Public Beta or Apple Developers program.

And with that comes the question, will there be a jailbreak for iOS 9.2 coming soon?
