According to news, 'Fifty Shades Darker' production has started but is experiencing delays because of casting details.

In a report by Inquisitr, there are delays with the production of the movie "Fifty Shades Darker", which includes finding a new casting director and a few casting difficulties. However, it seems that the film is right back on track. The only thing to worry about is if they have enough time to finish it for its scheduled release.

E.L. James, the writer of the erotic novel, posted a couple of photos using her Instagram account. The photos showed that the film is really in pre-production. One of the photos showed Michael De Luca's nameplate, who is one of the producers of the film.

Another photo showed James sitting with the rest of the writers and producers around a table. Although it looks like the film is up and running, the directors still have a lot of things to do before the actual filming. The biggest problem that the producers have to overcome is with regards to casting, Fashion & Style magazine reported.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dorman have both confirmed that they will reprise their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. The rest of the official cast is yet to be announced but several names have been mentioned, which includes Ian Somerhalder, Theo James, Charlize Theron, Henry Cavill, Alexis Bledel and Cara Delevingne.

Other actors that fans will see in the next film include Rita Ora, Max Martini, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk and Eloise Mumford.

Apart from the casting, "Fifty Shades Darker" might also experience some troubles with lead cast Jamie Dorman after it was reported that the actor is asking to spend more time with his daughter Lucie and wife Amelia Warner who is pregnant with their second child. If the reports are true, then it might seriously impact the production of the film.

The film is also due to hire a casting director to fill in all the other major roles. So unless that gets sorted out first, it's unlikely that the cast will be complete any time soon, which might push the schedule even further.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will focus on the deepening relationship between Steele and Grey and all the hurdles that they have to face, including the person behind Grey's BDSM lifestyle. In the movie, it is assumed that the businessman will eventually propose to Steele. The sequel for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is due for release on February 17, 2017. Meanwhile, the third instalment "Fifty Shades Freed" has a release date of February 2018.
