After dating for only six months, Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend, singer FKA twigs, seemed to be heading down the aisle. She suddenly showed up in pictures all over the net donning a rock on her ring finger. Then various magazines and tabloids began to dish on their wedding, which was said to be postponed until later this year. The ceremony still has not happened and fans are beginning to wonder if it is actually cancelled.

According to Inquisitr, it looks like the highly-anticipated nuptials between the British pair is not happening because the groom is just too busy!

The Inquisitr points to Deadline, revealing the 29-year old A-lister has just signed on to do another film in addition to his already mounting schedule. He will star in "High Life" alongside Mia Goth. The film will revolve around a "group of criminals who accept a mission in space to become the subjects of a human reproduction experiment. They find themselves in the most unimaginable situation after a storm of cosmic rays hit the ship."

He is also in the throws of two other major motion pictures, "Life" and "Queen of the Desert." Oh yeah, that is in addition to two more films that have been added to his to do list, including "The Childhood of a Leader" in 2015 and "The Lost City of Z" in 2016.

The Inquisitr attributes the super busy schedule to the UK native's need and desire to move past his breakout role as Edward Cullen, a chivalrous vampire in the screen adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" Saga.

Sources at PEOPLE Magazine reported Pattinson and FKA were speaking a lot less to each other because of their chaotic schedules. Prior to that, the celebrity-based website said the two postponed their wedding due to an indecisive bride. Twigs reportedly could not ther she wanted a big wedding or a small ceremony. This fueled reports that she was dating Pattinson merely for his A-list name leading to further allegations that the pair would be splitting.

However, the latest from HollywoodLife.com indicates the two are still on and the wedding is going to happen, just at a more fitting date for both parties.

"Don't take the news as a bad thing - they just want to get it right because they only want to do it once," the insider stated. "FKA wants it to be perfect and she keeps going back and forth on ideas. She definitely wants it to be amazing, so she keeps thinking of things to add to the festivities!"
