Manchester United currently sits in first place in English Premier League. However, they only hold a one point lead over cross town rivals Manchester City.

To make matters worse, the team will be without wingers Nani and Antonio Valencia. This makes Sir Alex Ferguson's roster choices all the more difficult for Saturday as the team played on Wednesday and will play again on Wednesday in the Champions League. The team's top players played on Wednesday in a 1-0 win over West Hamand Ferguson might look to give them some much deserved rest against 19th place Reading. The UCL match on Wednesday is probably not a major concern for Ferguson either as Man U has already clinched first place in Group H and could very well put a B squad on the pitch against CFR Cluj-Napoca for that match.

Meanwhile Reading sits in 19th place with a four point lead over Queens Park Rangers (five points). The team has won just one game and has profited from six draws. They have lost six times but their lone victory came against Everton, which could make them a dangerous side.

Prediction: If Ferguson starts his top stars, then Manchester United should romp through this 3-0. Of course, one must not overlook their inconsistent effort against last place QPR last week. If Ferguson decides to give his stars a rest, this could be a tighter match and a possible 1-1 draw.
