Playboy is reportedly eyeing Taylor swift for the cover of its March edition. But before the fans grow furious, and the men get too excited, thinking probably of Swift in her boldest pose to date yet, remember that Playboy had previously announced that it is undergoing rebranding. A overhaul of which involved stripping the magazine off of nude pics.

Hollywood Life noted that Swift will definitely not pose in her glorious nakedness. So much so that the Hollywood Life believes when an insider source revealed to them exclusively that Playboy is offering Swift to be on its first non-nude cover.

Playboy announced the big shift on Oct. 13. According to the magazine, the rebranding will take effect in February when its March issue gets publish.

If Swift indeed gets the stint, she will actually be setting a history. Playboy's March 2016 issue is set to be the very first time since 1953 that a "Playmate" will not be posing naked.

"Playboy wants to make a splash on their first non nude cover and they would love to have Taylor Swift on the cover and pair that with an amazing interview inside," the insider told The Hollywood Life exclusively. "The Playboy brand knows having such a powerful woman on their cover will really show the new look that they are going for as they rebrand," the source told more.

Playboy has decided to stop featuring naked women in order to survive the changing time, the magazine explained. In 2014, it initially re-branded its Playboy.com website and made it safe-for-work. With this initial step, Playboy discovered that it can go beyond nakedness. Even with its rebranded website that only features photos of beautiful women, humor, sex and culture, nightlife and entertainment, tens of millions of readers kept coming back to the site.

By the looks of it, Playboy is going after the likes of Maxim, Esquire and GQ. Speaking of GQ, Swift's first-ever shoot with the magazine is already out in November. In the cover, the pop singing sensation posed by the beachside in California. Photographer Michael Thompson took the snaps.

There was one photo of her showering beside the beach and another that showed her relaxing on her tummy on a bed. Nevertheless, writer Chuck Klosterman wrote that swift "never gratuitously sexualized her image and seems pathologically averse to controversy."  With that, it remains to be seen whether Swift will appear on Playboy's March cover.
