Samsung continues its drive to offer its customers a worthy mobile device and it seems that the focus right now is on a successor to the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 didn’t exactly pan out when it hit the market, missing its sales forecast which affected the smartphone supremacy battle between Apple and Samsung.

But with the release of the company’s new devices, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it seems that the Korean-based company has recovered.

And now all eyes on what Samsung has in store for folks and abuzz right now is that yet-to-be-confirmed Samsung Galaxy S7.

In recent weeks, a variety of rumors on what the device would be offering have come out. Among the rumoured specs include a dual camera setup, a Turtle Glass for added protection, and a single curved display.

The latest on the Samsung Galaxy S7 however reveals that next Samsung Galaxy device will be its fastest flagship device yet.

The reason behind this comes from SamMobile who reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be getting a big boost from its semiconductor business and that the rumoured device will come out in three different variants with varying chips.

There will allegedly be a Samsung Galaxy S7 running on an Exynos 8890 chip that will be codenamed ‘Mongoose’, another running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and a third model which will run on an Exynos 7422 processor.

The Exynos 7422 chip is the same one that was previously rumoured to be used on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 but the company eventually decided to use an Exynos 7420 64-bit processor instead.

It is believed that of the three, only the variants running on Exynos 7422 and Snapdragon 820 will likely be offered universally.

The model running on the Exynos 8890 may be offered exclusively only to Korea, Japan and Europe. If so, the chosen regions stand to experience a whole new level of LTE speeds just in case.

While the thought seems to be something to ponder on, faster connection will also depend on whether the carrier supporting the device is capable of rendering the faster LTE speed the device can handle.

It would be best to take note that all of these are rumors and thus not yet to be taken seriously. Samsung has yet to confirm any of them though such could be known in a couple of months with reports that Samsung may reveal the Samsung Galaxy S7 by January, 2016.
