"Destiny: The Taken King" has already been released for two weeks now and surely, many gamers are already hooked on the game's new missions, gameplay, weapons and equipment, as well as enemies.

However, another aspect of the game that players are looking forward to is the monthly multiplayer events. But Bungie knows this and thus, has already made its move as it will bring back two improved and better events this October that will surely keep the players engaged for a longer time.

First on the list is the return of "Iron Banner." According to Bungie, gamers will be able to see some changes including adjustments on the "damage curves" that will enable it to work on the game's new measurement system.

The best change on the game is probably the reward system where the drop rates have been increased, making it the main source of rewards. Additionally, possible rewards from finishing matches will now include both weapons and armor that match the items available from Lord Saladin.

Moreover, despite having no changes in the "catch-up buff" and "Iron Medallion mechanics," the tempered buff will now be automatically applied and will continue to grow in the event.

Besides making Fireteam leadership available for Level 40 Guardians only, new emblems as well as bounties that will reward Legendary needed to purchase gears from Lord Saladin has also been added in the event.

On the other hand, following "Iron Banner" is the "The Trials of Osiris" event which also returns with multiple changes.

In the new "Trials of Osiris," the winning teams will get the drops and gears exclusively at the end of the match, without the need to return to Brother Vance to claim them.

Various adjustments have also been made in matches in order to make the game more interesting. Although the game will enable teams to continuously journey to the Lighthouse if they go undefeated in the passage, the matchmaking system that will pair teams based on wins makes that part harder. Hence, even though winning a lot is a great thing in the rewards perspective, going undefeated will be the real challenge.

Furthermore, aside from having distinct audio cues when a teammate and enemy revives, there will also be Trials Bounties every weekend from Brother Vance and a details page where players will be able to see their active buffs.

These new upgrades will undoubtedly make gamers excited to play the events, especially with the previous ones already a success. As cited by Game Rant, the promises of new loot and the weapon balancing introduced previously makes veteran gamers excited for combat.

The "Iron Banner" event will be available on October 13, 2015 while "Trials of Osiris" follows on October 16, 2015.
