Drug testing seems to be pretty popular these days in the UFC world and such hasn’t been spared from the already animated rivalry between Brazilian champion Jose Aldo and Irishman Conor McGregor.

The two are set to finally face off in the Octagon this December for UFC 194, a showdown many had been looking forward to since July.

Remember that Aldo and McGregor were originally scheduled to face each other during at UFC 189 but Aldo had to pull out due to a rib injury which he sustained in training.

Instead, UFC 189 saw McGregor face Chad Mendes with the former winning via TKO when Mendes made a costly move (guillotine choke) that failed to connect.

Though UFC 194 is months away, Aldo has gone out and undergone drug testing to douse water on allegations that he was taking in ban substances. He posted a picture on his Instagram account recently after undergoing the random drug testing by USADA over at Rio de Janeiro.

Now aside from showing off that he had undergone drug testing, Aldo took a swipe at McGregor as well via MMAFighting.com.

"Hey, Irish sucker! Have you already done your drug test or they don't have it in Ireland? I DID IT TODAY! I wanna do it again next week! How about you? Are you ready for it, you punk?!?"

Both fighters have been trading verbal jarbs and the trash-talking is expected to pick up as UFC 194 nears.

It was back in March when Aldo responded to accusations by McGregor that the Brazilian fighter was taking banned substances. He claims that McGregor didn’t come too cleanly as well.

A previous report on Fox Sports quotes McGregor as claiming that Aldo wasn’t being tested in Brazil and standing pat on his insinuations that Aldo was indeed taking banned substances.

“It’s his shady ass that doesn’t get tested over there in Brazil. All this corruption is still over there. Some police officer from the gym arrested the guy who was taking the test. That is the shadiest (stuff) I’ve ever heard in my life. So, I take the test, he doesn’t. Test his ass.”

Seeing how both Aldo and McGregor are not shy to shoot out their proverbial jabs at one another, expect the Irishman to unload another wave of trash-talk on Aldo in the coming days or weeks.

With about more or less two months to go before the two finally meet at UFC 194, the trash-talking is expected to reach a feverish pitch until December comes around.
