The Apple products are on sale on Black Friday 2012, even if it is a difference of $70.

The post-Thanksgiving Day ritual of the unofficial start of holiday shopping season sees Best Buy offering the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display for $1,629.99.

The price is $70 less than the original price of $1,699.99.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display in question has 8GB of internal storage with 128GB of flash storage.

The 13-inch version with 8GB of internal storage with 256GB flash storage is also on sale with $1,897.99, saving the customer $120.00. The original price is $1,999.99.

When visiting the Best Buy site, make sure to click on "See price in cart" as it will display the regular price, current price, and how much will be saved. According to Best Buy, the on sale price isn't automatically on display because, "We wish we could. But because our price on this item is lower than the manufacturer's suggested retail price, the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you add the item to your cart."

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which made its debut on Oct. 23 along with the iPad Mini and iPad 4, features 2,560x1,600 pixel resolution, 0.75-inch thin, and a battery life of up to seven hours of wireless hours and 30 days of standby time, two Thunderbolt ports, two USB 3 ports, FaceTime HD camera, Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and the OS X Mountain Lion with iLife.
