The long rumoured tiff involving WWE COO Triple H and Seth Rollins is still up in the air though it remains to be seen when the match will take place.

Rumors of the said turn would have happened at WWE SummerSlam but as everyone saw, nothing of the like happened. And now after a WWE RAW episode, news about a Triple H vs. Seth Rollins is again looming in the air.

Of course it will not happen at WWE Night of Champions though there are some who believe that the events leading to matches set for the coming PPV could be indications that the long-rumored feud will be happening soon.

For his part, Triple H has not been into active duty since Wrestlemania 31 when he went up against Sting. The WWE COO of course won that match and has since been performing his duties as COO.

So could he be donning his tights once more soon to go up against his protégé Seth Rollins?

After a botched statue unveiling that saw Sting appearing instead, Rollins finds himself in an unusual situation at WWE Night of Champions. Rollins will be defending his WWE Heavyweight title of course but it won’t just be one match.

For WWE Night of Champions, Rollins will be facing John Cena and then Sting for the PPV which could test the durability and mettle of the WWE champion. The match was made by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, something that may not sit well with the man known as the Architect.

Could this be the start of the falling out many were speculating? Will Rollins come to the point of getting in the face of Triple H?

If that isn’t enough to convince you well here is a kicker that could.

What if for some reason, Mr. Money in the Bank Sheamus, decides to cash in at WWE Night of Champions? That would make it three matches in one night and seeing the skill level of the fighters he will be facing, losing the WWE belt that night seems imminent.

It would be the perfect opportunity for Sheamus seeing how worn out Rollins will be by the time he cashes in.

With that in mind, Rollins could end up irate after the match and most likely confront the Authority on the following night’s WWE RAW.

The seeds have been planted so now it remains if they will sprout. If so, would that expected Triple H vs. Seth Rollins finally materialize?
