With many speculations surrounding the Grand Theft Auto franchise, here are the few things we know so far:

We can expect a female character in GTA 6.

According to Christian Post, GTA 6 is expected to introduce a female character which aims to reach out to the female market.

The decision aims to connect female players and is confirmed by Rockstar Studios founder Dan Houser in a blogpost.

"We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game but definitely for the right game in the future - with the right themes, it could be fantastic," Houser told The Guardian.

According to Christian Post, there are rumours that Eva Mendez will be voicing the female character.

A more interesting bit is that she is said to be partnered up with husband Ryan Gosling who will voice the lead role.

Tech blog Neurogadget revealed that Houser gave a green light on the said female character.

Expect more 'impressive' car models in GTA 6.

Neurogadget, in the same blog post, disclosed car models that could be expected in GTA6

If you're wondering about the automobiles that are available in GTA 6, expect a pretty impressive collection. You might also see cars dating from the 1950s or 1967 (Ford Pickup or Shelby GT500 to name a few car models).

No word yet on GTA 6's map.

On another note, no details have been released or confirmed regarding GTA 6's map has.

Christian Post quoted Houser, "Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas."

The Six-Star Wanted Level might make a comeback.

The Christian Post reported that there are speculations that the game will bring back the Six-Star wanted level, allowing players to be up against the FBI and providing a room to innovate the presentation of GTA 6 characters' lives.

While the expectation on GTA 6 is gaining momentum, an interview with Rockstar Studios President Leslie Benzies in 2013, according to Realty Today, reminded game enthusiasts of the time needed to produce a high quality game.

"We won't be doing things every year in a cycle. A year just isn't long enough to do this job. It might have been on the old consoles, but not on this."

Unofficial sources said that Grand Theft Auto 6 will happen in 2018 in the US, according to Neurogadget
