The world created by Eiichiro Oda has expanded to multiple forms of media since its first publication back in 1997 on Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. "One Piece: Pirate Warrios 3" will be on sale this Tuesday. The game will be on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. To add more excitement, a new animated film is in the works, and is set for release this summer of 2016.

According to US PlayStation Blog, "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" will feature all the excitement that comes with the "Warriors" series by Koei Tecmo. The game will pit featured characters from the manga and anime, and will also allow players to relive memorable storyline scenes with full control of Luffy and the members of the Strawhat Pirates.

Continuing the report, the storyline for "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" will start from Fushia Village and go all the way to the Dressrosa story arc. What makes the game series unique is the strength of the bonds between the characters. This said strength in bonds is emphasized with the new Kizuna Rush system on "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3."

The Kizuna Gauge fills up through general combat. Once full, Kizuna rush can be activated, which will allow players to continuously summon their support character for some awesome combination attacks --- within a time limit, of course. With a roster of 37 characters, prepare to experience action-packed battles.

With the Season Pass up for grabs, DLC Pack 1 and DLC Pack 2 are bundled for only $11.99. This will include 30 costumes for specific characters and eight iconic quests. If bought separately, each DLC Pack will cost $7.99.

Pre-orders are up as well, with some exclusive booty for PS3 and PS4 owners. Luffy and Sabo will each have specific costumes, and will include two DLC missions. On top of that will be the dynamic theme for the console's system.

With such bountiful information about the video game, it is high time to check out this new movie. The said animated movie was announced last Saturday on the ending of the episode of Sabo: Bond of Three Brothers - A Miraculous Reunion and an Inherited Will! (One Piece Episode of Sabo ~3-Kyōdai no Kizuna Kiseki no Saikai to Uketsugareru Ishi~) special.

According to Anime News Network, the special will revisit the childhood of Luffy, Ace and Sabo. This story will focus on the brothers' dream of becoming pirates. It will also reveal how Sabo ended up on the kingdom of Dressrosa, a crucial information not divulged in Eiichiro Oda's original manga and anime.

Further on, the report stated that Crunchyroll and FUNimation Entertainment will stream the animated special. This will be the 13th animated movie in the franchise, and Oda-san will provide a comment about the film on Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump's 40th issue this year.

Stay posted for more details about the special animated movie of One Piece. In the meantime, enjoy piracy in action with "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3."
