A day after telling reporters he was on Saturday Night Live "enough," New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie made an appearance on the show's Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers. The governor took time to comment on the relief effort following Hurricane Sandy and to thank those who helped out, including the Red Cross and first responders.

Christie, who is known to poke fun at himself, made fun of his impatient attitude, his "Chris Christie Governor" fleece and his love of New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen. "It's basically fused to my skin at this point," Christie told Meyers about his fleece. "I'm going to die in this fleece," he jokingly added.

During his brief appearance, Christie also said he wanted to "not thank" the "stupid mayors" who ignored his calls for evacuation during the storm and the reporters who went out in the hurricane to do storm coverage. "We don't need you to tell us there is a hurricane," Christie said. "We have windows!"

He also called out those who had gotten in screaming matches at gas stations due to long lines. "Look, I get it. Screaming at people at gas stations is the New Jersey tradition but you don't do it during a crisis. There will be plenty of time for yelling after this is all over," he said.

The governor concluded his appearance by quoting "New Jersey poet" Bruce Springsteen's "Atlantic City." "Well now, everything dies, baby, that's a fact/ But maybe everything that dies someday comes back/ Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty/
And meet me tonight in Atlantic City," he recited.

Saturday's Weekend Update also included Jay Pharoah as comedian Katt Williams and Meyers examining the winners and losers of the Petraeus sex scandal rocking Washington.
