Amy Schumer finally admits why Kim Kardashian and Kanye West never helped her up on the red carpet when she pranked them in April.

At the TIME 100 Gala, Schumer did what most fear would happen at any public event -- taking a tumble. To make matters worse, she fell right in front of the pop culture royalty!

In an interview with BBC Radio One's Scott Mills, the Comedian said that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and the Chicago emcee did not dare touch her, because they thought she was an "idiot" and "sucks."

"They knew I was an idiot and I completely respect their reaction," she said.

"I don't think they said anything," she continued. "I think they looked at each other like 'Let's get out of here. This girl sucks.'"

Or perhaps the couple feared another prank from the no-filter comic?

Schumer then explained she did not premeditate taking the dive but rather saw an opportunity and seized it, according to Mirror.

"It was very in the moment. It's so funny that it became such a big thing," she confessed. "I had no idea because my phone died and when I got home, my friends were like, 'You're trending in Dubai!' And I was like, 'What?!'"

While speaking to Graham Norton, the "Trainwreck" starlet said she saw "Kim and Kanye standing there, just owning it, just being short and important. Falling is the funniest thing, so I took a dive in front of them."

Kardashian and West were wearing matching black outfits and both barely reacted, if at all, to Schumer's prank. The reality star hardly cracked a smile, while the "All Day" rapper appeared to be quite emotionless.

Schumer's "Trainwreck" co-star spoofed the prank at the Berlin premiere of "Trainwreck," which is titled, "Dating Queen," in German on Tuesday.

Vanessa Bayer dove in front of Schumer and director Judd Apatow, while wearing a similar blue dress to the blonde comedian's TIME 100 ensemble.

In the photo above, Apatow is clearly immitating an expressionless West, while Schumer is copying a slightly disgusted Kardashian.

"Trainwreck" has grossed $30.2 million in its opening weekend and is expected to surpass its budget of $35 million, according to Mirror.
