Oops! Magazine is probably regretting getting under Leonardo Dicaprio's skin -- it was sued by the "Titanic" star after publishing a false story regarding his love life with Barbadian singer Rihanna.

The publication claimed DiCaprio impregnated RiRi, as the cover of its May issue read: "Rihanna Pregnant With Leonardo's Baby: He Doesn't Want the Baby."

Although magazine company reportedly lost the suit, due to the stringent laws against celebrity privacy in France, it claimed "The Wolf of Wall Street" actor filed the lawsuit for "racist" reasons, not for a breach of privacy, according to Gossip Cop.

Oops! owner Frederic Truskolaski confessed to GossipCop, saying that "We didn't know" if Rihanna was in fact carrying DiCaprio's seed. "We thought she might be. We were not sure, of course," he said.

Truskolaski then admitted the company expected to lose the suit. "We were totally expecting this decision, since in France when any magazine speaks about a celebrity's private life the magazine is automatically condemned," he added.

The "Inception" actor reportedly demanded the publication retract the story, in addition to requesting the highest compensation allowed by French law for the damages and legal fees -- 18,000 euros, which is around $20,000.

The French court found the claims made by Oops! Magazine to be false and further ruled the publication in breach of France's privacy laws by publicizing two paparazzi photos along with the story. As a result, DiCaprio was awarded about $8,800.

Truskolaski may have lost the suit, however he did clarify his thoughts on the actor, calling him a "pervert" for only dating much younger women.

Moreover, "The Great Gatsby" actor actually filed the lawsuit for "racial reasons." "DiCaprio almost systematically goes out with Aryan-type girls, always blonde hair. He could not stand the fact that our magazine was saying he was having a baby with a black girl," said Truskolaski.

Yikes! There are yet to be any statements made from DiCaprio and his team regarding the statement.

The couple was rumored to be dating in March after snapshots of the two began to surface. DiCaprio was snapped at Rihanna's birthday party, hanging out and dancing with the 27-year-old. TMZ further reported the 40-year-old was the one who threw the big b-day bash.
