New details about the potential "Supergirl" TV series crossover with the "Flash" and "Arrow" shows have been revealed. Will they team up in the future?

It seems that there are no plans for the "Supergirl" TV series to crossover with CW's the "Flash" and "Arrow".

According to a report by Slash Film, CBS chairman Nina Tassler admitted that there are no plans for the "Supergirl" TV series to crossover to other DC TV shows. It should be noted though that she admitted that she liked the idea of the show crossing over with the other DC TV shows.

Tassler notes that one cannot simply put a character from a series to crossover with another.

"I'm a little bit of a superhero geek and I have a lot of respect for what characters inhabit certain universes," Tassler said. She added, "You can't just pick up one character and let them fly over and appear in another setting. You really have to be respectful and mindful of what each universe says you can and can't do. Obviously working very closely with DC and our producers, Greg Berlanti is the poster child for this field. Right now we're not doing it. We're doing it promotionally, but we'll always stay open. They're very inventive about what they can and will do."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, some DC characters are going to appear on "Supergirl."

As was revealed by executive producer Geoff Johns and Andrew Kreisberg, Red Tornado, Non, Lucy Lane and General Sam Lane would appear on the show.

For those who don't know these characters, Red Tornado is a superhero with the power to create and manipulate winds. He is a member of various superhero teams such as the JLA, JSA and more.

Non is a Kryptonian criminal who would be a rival of Supergirl in later episodes. Non appeared in "Superman 2" and was portrayed by Jack O'Halloran.

Lucy Lane is the younger sister of Lois Lane as well as the ex-girlfriend of Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks). In the comics, Lucy Lane would become the "Superwoman" and she will be a great ally to Superman and Supergirl. Lucy Lane will be portrayed by "American Horror Story: Asylum" actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

Lucy's father, General Sam Lane, will also be part of the show and it has been hinted that Sam will have some sort of "agenda" with Supergirl, it is unknown if this hidden agenda is good or bad.

"Supergirl" TV series will premiere on Oct. 26, 2015 on CBS.
