For the first time in history, Batman and Superman will appear together in one big screen in an action movie. Fans have definitely waited for ages for this moment, and Screen Rant shares details of the upcoming movie. According to the news outlet, the test screening offered outstanding action scenes and a well-thought story plot.

According to Comicbook.com, they received news that the movie was shown to a small group of executives from Warner Bros. and everyone was impressed after watching the film. The movie was reportedly given a standing ovation by the small group of audience.

Comicbook.com also added that much of the positive feedback and applause was given to Ben Affleck for his effective portrayal of the role of Batman. There was even a rumor that these executives, who have attended the screening, want Affleck to star in at least three stand-alone Batman movies.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe. It serves as the first theatrical film that brings in Wonder Woman in a live-action portrayal.

While the movie is still set to be released early next year, fans have already expressed confidence on what is coming their way, as reported by Screen Rant. One thing to note about this is that the version that reportedly received a standing ovation from the executives is not yet the actual version to be shown in cinemas, which means many of the special effects are not yet incorporated. This have made more of the Batman and Superman fans excited about the new movie. More than the special effects, however, it is the story that will determine if the film is indeed worth the fans' waiting or not.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016, initially in the U.K. and U.S.

Given the positive reviews that it has been getting after the test screening, Screen Rant notes that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" tickets will certainly sell like hotcakes on its release date early next year.

The release of the "Batman v Superman" movie will be followed by the showing of the following: "Suicide Squad (August 2016); Wonder Woman (June 2017); Justice League (November 2017); The Flash (March 2018); Aquaman (July 2018); Shazam (April 2019); Justice League 2 (June 2019); Cyborg (April 2020); and Green Lantern Corps (June 2020).
