Success coming from the two "Avengers" movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has given Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games the wild idea to create the "Lego Marvel's Avengers" video game. Today, they announced that the game will be available by January of 2016.

According to Comics Alliance, TT Games revealed additional characters to the video games. With the Avengers team confirmed, a few more Marvel heroes and villains joined the roster. Revealed for the first time at Gamescom is the Lego version of Khamala "Ms. Marvel" Khan, Jane Foster Thor and the Young Avenger's Speed. Bruce Banner, Hulk and Squirrel Girl will also be part of the line-up. The report gave high regard to the games' reveal.

"Lego Marvel's Avengers" is the second Lego Marvel game, according to Forbes. The game will focus on the events and story of MCU's "Marvel's The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." With the roster of in-game characters on the rise, Phil Ring (executive producer) mentioned that they are still open for suggestions.

The report further suggested that the game will have 150 never-before seen Marvel heroes and characters returning from the previous Lego game. As was shown in the demo from the last E3 2015, gameplay is focused on teamwork to pull off a combination or special moves. When the moves are charged enough, it will be unleashed with greater effectiveness and are visually stunning to watch.

Game director Arthur Parson recently spoke about the "Lego Marvel's Avengers" and how they managed to merge two movie plots in one interactive video game, according to Comic Book Source.

"It's not like in the old games where you'd play 'Avengers' and then play 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,'" he said. Parson explained, "That wouldn't work because of the time lapse in between. So what we've done is stitch them together. Our opening level is the beginning of 'Ultron,' where they're attacking von Strucker's castle, but when Tony grabs Loki's staff, it segues to the scene from 'Avengers' when Loki got the staff, and you then play through the rest of 'Avengers.'"

Eager fans who will pre-order the video game at GameStop will receive a Lego Iron Man Silver Centurion armor, according to Game Rant. This will provide faithful followers the choice to opt and reserve a copy as soon as possible to not miss a limited edition collector's item.

"Lego Marvel's Avengers" will be released on every known platform by Jan. 26, 2016 for North America and Jan. 29, 2016 in Europe.
