Good news gamers as Capcom may be set to reveal the latest entry in the "Resident Evil" franchise as a recent leak may have confirmed that "Resident Evil 7" is on its way, if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

According to Karen Repala of Ecumenical News, Capcom may be set to reveal a new game in the "Resident Evil" franchise as they've recently registered a trademark that is tied to the series.

As noted on the report, the "Umbrella Corps" trademark has been registered by Capcom at the Office of Harmonization in the International Market (OHIM).

Ecumenical News speculated that this new trademark means that Capcom developing something related to the "Resident Evil" franchise.

Citing Segment Next, Ecumenical News stated Capcom could be working on a new Nintendo 3DS game that is related to "Operation Raccoon City" but also noted that Capcom could be working on "Resident Evil 7" as well.

Meanwhile, Snooky Grawls of Christian Today has reported that not only has "Resident Evil 7" been allegedly confirmed by Capcom and details about the game have been revealed.

According to Christian Today, the "Resident Evil 7" release date has been set to be on Fall 2015 and that there would be three protagonists in the story and all of them are women.

As noted on the report, "Resident Evil 7" would be first game appearance of Alice from the "Resident Evil" movies along with two other unnamed female protagonists.

However, some reports are claiming that "Resident Evil 7" could actually be released sooner.

According to Lorraine Caballero of MNR Daily, the "Resident Evil 7" release date could actually be on October 2015.

Fans of "Resident Evil" may have to wait a bit more for new details about "Resident Evil 7" but they could play "Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster" in the meantime.

As was noted by Capcom in the official Steam page of the "Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster", this is what you can expect from the game:

"Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster" is set to be released some time in 2016.
