The game “Disney Infinity 3.0” is set to launch in August 2015.

IGN.com revealed that “Disney Infinity 3.0” will release on August 28 in the United Kingdom and August 30 in North America. The game will be playable on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.

“Disney Infinity 3.0” generally features Star Wars. The 2015 starter pack will include the “Star Wars Twilight of the Republic” play set, a copy of the game, the base that will transport the figurines into the game, two figures namely Anakin Skywalker and AhsokaTano, and a web code for mobile content. Gamers who have an existing base from previous games can either purchase the software individually or get a bundle that includes the software and “Twilight of the Republic” play set.

Furthermore, IGN.com reported that gamers who pre-order the “Disney Infinity 3.0” starter pack, special edition or the solus software will also receive the new toy box takeover game piece for free at select retailers. The toy box takeover may be played locally by a maximum of two players, and online by a maximum of four players.

The “Rise Against the Empire” play set and BobaFett figure may be acquired by gamers who will get the special edition for Sony platforms during the official launch date. The figures will become available on other consoles after one month.

Forbes revealed that during launch, gamers can play the “Rise Against the Empire” play set if they buy the “Star Wars Saga Bundle” exclusively on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4, which costs $114.99. “Disney Infinity 1.0” and “Disney Infinity 2.0” are still available for gamers who have not played these at lower prices. The original “Disney Infinity 1.0” includes three play set adventures in the box.

IGN added that there may also be figures of Yoda, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, KananJarrus, Chewbacca, Zeb Orrelios, Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger. There will be several Disney characters too, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Quorra, Mulan, Sam Flynn and Olaf.

Based on another IGN report, Disney released a brand new app for Android and iOS devices that will help update Star Wars fans on the latest features and stories. The app, called “Star Wars”, will immediately notify fans regarding new announcements. Users can also customize the app, take themed selfies, find interviews with creators and use a reality feature that will unlock 3D characters from the upcoming movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. The app is now available on Google Play and the App Store.
