Will the current feud storyline involving Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt end at WWE Battleground?

If earlier rumors of a possible rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam is true then such could be the case.

As far as the WWE and Reigns’ future is concerned, however, one has to wonder if the feud should end at the coming pay-per-view scheduled for July 19, 2015 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis Missouri.

Reigns is being readied to be the next face of the WWE, particularly once John Cena retires. In the ring, Reigns has proven his power and skills but as far as the mic is concerned, Reigns has a lot of work ahead.

Such is seen as the reason why Reigns has been cut off from a WWE title reign, something dating back to the WWE Royal Rumble. Reigns did win the rumble as expected but somehow something went haywire.

He did make it to the main event of Wrestlemania 31 against the Beast Incarnate Lesnar but it seemed that the WWE felt that Reigns was still not ready.

Reigns has been lingering in the WWE Heavyweight title picture but it seems that he will continue to stay there until the WWE sees him fit to reign as the new face and WWE champion. One man indirectly helping him improve on those said facets is the man he is currently feuding with – Bray Wyatt.

Like him or love him, Wyatt has become the ideal heel to build up the face character of Reigns. It has even served as a means to practice Reigns’ communication skills behind the microphone from past WWE shows.

With that said, does it follow that Reigns vs Wyatt will go beyond WWE Battleground? Does this eliminate that expected and rumored collision between Reigns and Lesnar for WWE SummerSlam?

The storyline right now seems pretty interesting and is seen as the proper training ground before Reigns is catapulted to the top. Reigns may not be figuring in the WWE Heavyweight title picture but such could be seen as a better rather than being champion and then being dethroned because the WWE and the fans don’t see him fit as champ.

With all that said, it may be better for Reigns to work on his act for now and Wyatt is proving to be the right person to feud with at this point.

On how long that feud will last will be up to the WWE creative team, probably ending it once they see Reigns able and improved to stand on his own two feet and of course widely embraced by the WWE Universe.
