Good news for JRPG fans as Bandai Namco has announced that the "Tales of Symphonia" HD remake is coming to PC along with its release date.

Japanese developers are slowly embracing the PC platform as what once were console exclusive Japanese games are now being ported over to PC and Bandai Namco is bringing another beloved JRPG franchise to PC, the "Tales" series.

As was reported by Andy Chalk of PC Gamer, Bandai Namco has surprised PC gamers with an announcement that they're bringing the "Tales of Symphonia" HD remake to PC with a launch date set for 2016.

This announcement comes after their previous reveal that they are bringing "Tales of Zestiria" would be available on Steam starting October 20, 2015.

"Bandai Namco announced in June that Tales of Zestiria will launch on Steam on October 20, which was happy news indeed for fans of the long-running 'Tales Of' franchise. And now there's even more good news: An HD remake of Tales of Symphonia will join it in 2016," wrote Chalk.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has officially unveiled the "Tales of Symphonia" PC system requirements on the Steam page of the game. PC gamers might want to check the system requirements for the game to make sure if their PC could run it.

-Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+, 2.6GHz

However, should PC gamers try out "Tales of Symphonia?" Users over at Metacritic have reviewed the original version of the game and the majority of the reviews are mostly positive as the game has garnered a 9.1 user score at the site.

One user notes that "Tales of Symphonia" is the "Closest thing to a perfect game, amazing characters, amazing story, extremely fun battles, everything".

While Game Chronicles notes that, "The 3D real-time combat sets this game apart from anything else in the genre and takes the edge off what is typically a grueling leveling-up grind of endless encounters and combat".

Finally, Games (TM) notes that the game would be the benchmark of future JRPG's, "It's through the amount of details, distractions and other additions to the more obvious elements that Symphonia builds itself up from what starts as an above-average RPG into one that'll stand as a benchmark in future."
