The role-playing game “Fallout 4” is currently available for preorders.

Microsoft announced on July 1, 2015 that Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic game will be open for preorders for the Xbox One via the gaming console. The preordering period will be limited. Gamers who preorder “Fallout 4” using their Xbox One will also get a copy of “Fallout 3” for Xbox 360. Players will receive a code for the 2008 game within 7 to 10 days, based on a report by GameSpot. Players can redeem the code on Xbox.com.

Gamers can also play “Fallout 3” on Xbox One using the new backward compatibility functionality of the console, as soon as the feature becomes available in the fall of 2015. Xbox One Preview Program members can begin playing “Fallout 3” and other Xbox 360 titles on their Xbox One immediately.

Gamers can expect the next installment to be better than its predecessor, considering the new available technologies. Todd Howard, Game Director, stated on the Bethesda Store, “We know what this game means to everyone. The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”

Tech Radar cited that “Fallout 4” will feature an open-world set in a post-nuclear wasteland, featuring giant creatures and other transformed enemies. Gamers should do their best to survive and eliminate all threats in the area. Based on the trailer, the game will be located in Boston, Massachusetts. In the sequel, the player will be the sole survivor of Vault 111.

Engadget wrote that Bethesda announced that the real-world Pip-Boy Edition of “Fallout 4” will arrive with foam inserts to sufficiently fit the iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5s and 6 as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. According to Bethesda, there were certain size restrictions imposed on the Pip-Bo to ensure that the dimensions stay close to the in-game version. As a result, there were no special inserts to suit the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S6, because of their bigger sizes. The Pip-Boy Edition is set to launch in the fall of 2015.

The game description stated that “Fallout 4” is being created by Bethesda Game Studios, the same team behind “Fallout 3” and “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”. The game is set to release worldwide on November 10, 2015, playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
