Despite earlier reports that everything has been settled with the Show Off and the WWE as far as his contract is concerned, everything is still on the table.

Dolph Ziggler appeared at the Chad Duke Wrestling show recently and updated everyone on the real score of his status in the WWE.

“I’m thinking about it right now. I had a request for an upcoming contract that would end a few months from now, maybe two or three months from now, and they requested back what they would like, I countered another offer and we’re waiting to finalize some things.”

The wrestler is reportedly seeking a big push and he wants it to happen before his contract expires this coming September.

The Show Off is reportedly unhappy at his current status and could be headed at other similar sports entertainment factions if the WWE cannot guarantee him that push.

Word has it that Ziggler could possibly be headed to Lucha Underground where he could reunite with former WWE wrestler and friend John Morrison (Mundo).

A move to Lucha Underground could prove lucrative for Ziggler. As a basis for comparison, Ziggler could follow the success that another former WWE wrestler has been getting, Alberto Del Rio, who is said to be taking home about $500,000 per year.

TNA Wrestling is another option for Ziggler should he fail to come to terms with the WWE. The rival company is reportedly keeping tabs on the Ziggler situation.

Ziggler’s last moment of fame came at the WWE Survivor Series when he was part of Team Cena that did battle against Team Authority. Ziggler was the last man standing of that match but nothing followed ever since.

He did have classic matches in the last couple of months. That included a classic ladder match that saw him losing out to Daniel Bryan for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler had another chance to win the IC title at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view but once again failed.

At the moment, he is in an affiliation of sorts with Lana leading to a feud storyline with Rusev. But it seems that this is not enough to satisfy the big push Ziggler is looking for.

Ziggler knows how it feels to be at the top. He has held the United States title, Intercontinental title and WWE heavyweight title in past years and apparently he is looking to get a piece of the limelight once more.

With all the titles seemingly caught up in separate storylines, where could he possibly figure? The Intercontinental title seems to be a likely scenario though it would all depend on when the Ryback-Big Show feud will end and if the WWE finds it appealing.
