Manny Pacquiao's next fight is being decided as the Filipino boxer has revealed he is not ready to retire and is game to fight one more time. Is Amir Khan the next boxer to fight Manny Pacquiao?

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Pacquiao has admitted that he plans to fight again and that he is not retiring anytime soon because of his love of giving honor to the Philippines.

"I can retire, but in my heart I'm happy to give honor to the Philippines. That's what encourages me as a boxer," said Pacquiao to Philippine Daily Inquirer.

But when is Pacquiao planning to fight again?

According to a report at Opening Round, Pacquiao has admitted that he is not ready to fight this year but is open to fighting anyone in early 2016.

Pacquiao stated that while the shoulder sling he was wearing has been removed, he still does not have full joint mobility on his shoulder. According to him, he can't raise his arm at all and can only use his fingers at the moment.

While there are many boxers out there who are willing to fight Pacquiao, it has been speculated that Amir Khan could be Manny Pacquiao's next opponent. A different article by Opening Round reports that Khan said he has challenged Pacquiao before, but they allegedly turned him down.

"Look, if Manny wants to fight, we can do it, I've offered him and his team in the past, but they turned us down," said Khan in the report.

But Amir Khan may have to get past Floyd Mayweather Jr. first before there could be any talks of him being Manny Pacquiao's next opponent. Khan is believed to face the undefeated Mayweather on September 12.

Another likely candidate to face Pacquiao is Lucas Matthysse.

Lucas Matthysse is set to face Viktor Postol for the WBC Junior Welterweight title on September and the boxer noted that should he win the title, he would move up in weight, in hopes of getting his dream fight with Pacquiao.

According to another article on Opening Round, should Matthysse get a world title, he is planning to move to the welterweight division.

"I think the fight with Pacquaio can happen. Mayweather is harder to secure. First I'm going to beat Postol and then I'd like to fight with the Filipino," Matthysse said.
