Injuries in the WWE are nothing new, owing to the fact that such is a probability since the wrestlers resort to high risk maneuvers each time they appear in shows. Despite practices before doing their stunts, there is no telling what degree of injury they could end up leaving with.

From the looks of the recent events, another WWE wrestler seems to have fallen to such with reports that Tyson Kidd may have suffered from a spinal injury after his match with WWE newcomer Samoa Joe last Monday.

Kidd did receive the necessary medical attention after the match but no official word has been announced since then since the WWE seems to be applying a new policy on revealing the true stature of wrestlers who fall prey to such.

As it stands now, the injury seems to fall in that category, something that no one is supposed to be talking about.

There is no official word on the current state of Kidd right now though he is expected to make a full recovery. Along with that comes the looming though of Kidd wanting to avoid surgery, something which could compromise his movement and possibly his WWE career in the process.

Natalya did mention (on Instagram) that she was going through a difficult time but did not get into details or mention anything about Kidd.

Kidd teamed up with Cesaro last year to form a tag team in the WWE scene. They captured the WWE Tag Team titles on February 22. After two months of successfully defending the belts, the duo would eventually lose the titles to the New Day at WWE Extreme Rules.

Cesaro and Kidd have been actively inserted in tag team events but have so far been unsuccessful.

As it stands now, Cesaro could end up either competing in singles matches or look for another partner as Kidd is on his road to recovery. With the said injury, Kidd joins a cast of other wrestlers also on the injured list. That includes Rusev, Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami who have all been taken down in the past month or so.

There is no timetable for Kidd’s return but if it is indeed the spine, he could be out of action for some time. A spinal injury is something that Kidd cannot afford to take for granted. Rushing back would be a bad idea and could cost Kidd not only his career but leave him paralyzed if he is not careful.
