The Internet has been abuzz with rumors about the much awaited Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Fans have been eyeing the new laplet since the start of the month. This after reports of a possible unveiling in mid-May (specifically May 20).

The month is already ending but we haven't seen or heard any confirmation or announcement from Microsoft. Should we probably give up waiting? Note that the multinational company has just released the new Surface 3 tablet this year. Does it still have time for the next Surface Pro?

According to the International Business Times, it is likely that the new laplet would come out this July. IB Times said the new laplet might likely come out during the launch of the Windows 10. The Verge has confirmed that the new Windows 10 would come out this July, citing AMD president and CEO Lisa Su who said: "With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."

In a news update, The Verge said that the July launch still sounds likely, noting of the remaining weeks Microsoft has for its preparation.

We know that many are already hyped and excited to see what Microsoft has put into its new product.Do you think a July launch for the new laplet be better? Or should Microsoft take its time to perfect the new device?

Inquisitr citing industry analyst Paul Mueller said the new Surface Pro 4 would likely arrive in October. Here is Mueller's explanation:

"The Surface Pro 3 is selling just as well as it did when it first came out. Even though people expected a June or July release for the Pro 4, it probably won't happen until Windows 10 is released. That way, Microsoft could capitalize on both Windows 10 and the new Surface Pro at the same time."

Based on the early predictions of Motley Fool, the next Surface Pro laplet would just be an "enhanced version" of the Surface Pro 3, pointing out that the only improvement in it would be its processor. However, in a separate report, it aired the possibility of the laplet being LTE-capable. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to be available in two size options -- a 12-inch one and a 14-inch one, as BGR detailed. The new laplet is said to have an Intel Core i5 processor or a Core i7 processor and a 16 GB of RAM. Microsoft has not yet confirmed any of these speculations.
