Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas partner in a new music venture. The two singers reunite and will be launching their record label together.

MTV reports that Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas will work together once again. Their pairing has been lauded since their duet "Avalanche" and as joint mentors on the show "The X Factor." Jonas also served as Demi's musical and creative director for her "Neon Lights" tour. Their harmonious and successful partnership now results to the two of them launching their own music label together.

Safehouse Records is the new enterprise that Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and music manager Phil McIntyre are working on. They describe the company as a home for new artists. The record label will be responsible for the release of Demi's next album, as well as the discovery of new artists in the future.

"I've worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music. It's incredibly exciting to be part of this new company where I'm in control of all aspects of my career. I can't wait to share what we're working on!" Demi said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

The label founders will be teaming up with Island Records for their new business. Jonas and McIntyre said that their decision to partner with Island will give them "access to the best marketing and promotion available."

"Our focus at Safehouse Records is to put artists in control of their art while providing them the best tools to manage their careers. Through our partnership with Island Records they will also have access to the best marketing and promotion available," Nick and Phil added.

Meanwhile, Island Records CEO and president David Massey is also excited with the venture, especially with working with McIntyre. In an interview with Billboard, he noted that his working relationship with McIntrye has lasted 10 years. He also said he admires the manager's career objectives and work ethics.

"I really liked the culture he wanted to create: a small label that's highly focused and very artist-driven as opposed to something that would have to be able to grow exponentially," Massey explained.

As of the moment, Nick Jonas is signed in to Island Records. The label produced his two hit singles "Jealous" and "Chains." On the other hand, aside from her flourishing career, Demi is happily in a relationship with long-time boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. The two have been together since 2010 and although there were a few bumps along the way, there are rumors that the pair may tie the knot very soon.
