Sneakerheads now have a first look at the upcoming Nike "KD 8."

Bleacher Report wrote that Instagram user snkr_base leaked photos of Kevin Durant's new signature pair on May 11, 2015. The shoes will reportedly feature Nike's latest technology and have a different look compared to its predecessors.

Photos of the sneaker have been circulating around the Internet in the past 24 hours and although Nike has yet to confirm that it is indeed Durant's eighth signature shoe, a lot of people are already convinced, Slam Online noted.

The user, snkr_base, posted various photos on Instagram and he captioned one with:

"There is no need for me to LIE, I HAVE ENDLESS PICTURES

#SNKR_BASE #WEHAVEWHATYIUNEED #KD8 #THANKYOU #NIKE #STOPHATING".

Sneaker News also presented photos of the upcoming Nike KD 8. Similar to its predecessors, the basketball shoe features a low-cut construction and Flywire lockdown technology at the forefoot. The new cushioning unit sets it apart from previous KD models because of its visible Air.

Slam Online also noticed how the visible Air bubbles at the front of the midsole make it appear like the Nike Air Max. The shoe also has a Jacquard-like upper shell, a solid heel cup that connected with the midsole, and a new traction system that reportedly focuses on flexion at the lateral forefoot and medial heel. Perhaps the shoe will benefit Durant much, considering his foot issues. The area where the air bubbles are located is the spot where Jones fractures occur.

Based on the images, the shoe is predominantly Bright Crimson, with accents of black on the upper and a silver Swoosh on the side. The shoelaces, Flywires, inner lining, tongue and outsoles are also Bright Crimson. A black KD logo also appeared on the tongue and outsole of the sneaker.

Nice Kicks mentioned before that the Nike KD 8 was supposed to debut on June 27, 2015. There is no confirmation yet whether Bright Crimson will be the first colorway to become available.

Meanwhile, photos of the shoebox were also revealed, and it is black with a number "8" on the cover and Durant's logo on the side. The box further features a Canadian price sticker, which could mean that the Bright Crimson colorway will eventually be released on a global scale.

What do you think? Are you going to buy a new pair?
