South Korean rapper-singer Psy, famous for his international mega hit "Gangnam Style," took to Reddit to answer fans' questions in his very first AMA (ask me anything) session. The international star's AMA quickly became the most popular post on the social news website, with over 4,000 up votes from Reddit users and more than 10,000 comments an hour after the session ended.

Psy, who rose to international stardom this summer after releasing the video for his new single "Gangnam Style," answered questions regarding his rise to fame, his music and his accomplishments.

One "redditor" asked Psy, "Do you have a favorite Gangnam Style 'spoof' video?" To which he replied simply, "Ohio University Marching Band." The artist's popular song has seen a flurry of parody videos make their way to YouTube from universities, to Naval Academy cadets and even children.

Psy also addressed the notion that his video was a social critique of the Seoul neighborhood. "GS is not a critique, just FUN!" he told fans. Shortly after becoming viral in the U.S., The Atlantic wrote a piece dissecting the video's "subversive message."

One user asked the singer, who spent some time studying at Berklee College of Music and a semester at Boston University, about his time in Boston. He said, "Unfortunately I didn't attend class that much. Sorry! When I was in college I was young and stupid so I though I cannot learn creative things from other people like professors. I taught myself. But nowadays sometimes I regret but things worked out ok."

The rapper-singer, who told redditors that he can play both the clarinet and drums, also shared some behind the scenes information about his video. When asked about the elevator portion of "Gangnam Style," Psy replied, "That was ad libbed. Nong Chul is the name of the elevator guy and he is very famous comedian in Korea. That is a very popular dirty move he has been doing for 6 years and I asked him to do it in my video. If I am underneath, it would be dirtier!"

Earlier on Wednesday, Psy met with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, which he described, "showed momentum of my life. Much higher excitement than being #2 at billboard!!"

"Gangnam Style" is currently No. 2 in Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The song is also No. 1 on iTunes Top 100 Songs chart and No. 1 on iTunes Top 100 Music Videos chart. The video has over 530 million views on YouTube as well.
