INC Gamers has recently reported that Rin would be joining the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

Tim McDonald, author of the INC Gamers report, said that he would not reveal details about Rin's relevance in the game as he would not like to give spoilers. But he said that Rin, Kakashi and Obito "will be showcased in the Story mode during the 'Boys' Life Story' chapter". "[S]he won't just be an unimportant bonus character tacked onto Versus mode," he added.

According to Venture Capital Post, the upcoming game would be the last in the "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" series. It said that it would also be the most comprehensive. It also said that it would get new exciting features.

"Features will include brand new ones such as Wall-run and Change Leader System. These features are wherein opposing players will be allowed to fight while climbing walls, while still giving the other player an option to fight while still on the ground and wherein the player can replace or switch out the main character they are fighting as to fight against the opponent with your support characters, respectively. 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' will allow single player and multiplayer modes both for online and offline gaming," as stated in the VC Post report.

We have earlier reported that a bigger line-up is being eyed for the upcoming game, with several sources like Christian Today and Gaming Bolt saying that it would likely be composed of more than 87 characters. There were also rumors that characters from the "The Last: Naruto The Movie" are also expected to be in the said game.

Anime News Network citing the February issue of V Jump magazine earlier reported about the game having the "largest number of fighters in the series history." Some of the new playable characters in the game include Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and Sasuke. Plus, it also confirmed the new game franchise will include Jubi, also known as the giant villainous creature Ten-Tails. It also revealed that Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura of Team 7 are expected to team-up and fight Ten-Tails.

The new Naruto game developed by CyberConnect 2 and published by Bandai Namco Games is said to be available for PlayStation 4 consoles in Japan this year. "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," the sixth of the series and a direct sequel to "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3," will also be available Xbox One and PC (via Steam).

Chris Gilbert, Bandai Namco Games America Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, meanwhile said that "The Ultimate Ninja Storm" series is still one of their most popular franchises. Over 12 million "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" games have already been sold worldwide. Watch the game's official trailer here:
