A couple of unique sneakers are set to release in April 2015.

Dover Street Market and Jordan Brand collaborated to create the Dover Street Market x Air Jordan 1 High. The sneaker will officially become available on April 16 at Rei Kawakubo's fashion retail concept store in New York and a number of select shoe boutiques. There are rumors that the sneaker may only release in China or will be strictly exclusive to Nikelab and Dover Street Market stores, based on a report by Sneaker Bar Detroit.

The design base of the shoe is inspired by the Air Jordan 1. Kicks on Fire reported that the unique aesthetics of the AJ 1 was kept but the upper has been upgraded with shiny navy blue patent leather. The midsole, tongue tag and insole are white. The outsole is also navy blue. Everything else on the upper is navy blue, including the shoelaces, tongue, Nike Swoosh and embossed Air Jordan logo at the ankle.

Based on the same report by Kicks on Fire, the Dover Street Market x Air Jordan 1 High is an exclusive release and will retail at $185. Some outlets might feature a raffle draw to provide buyers a chance to get a pair in their chosen size.

Sneaker News wrote that the Air Jordan 13 Low will also be making a comeback in a well-loved colorway. The Air Jordan 13 Low "Hornets" is set to officially launch on April 18. The shoe will feature a turquoise blue, midnight navy and white colorway, reminiscent of the Charlotte Hornets, the team which Michael Jordan acquired (majority owner) in 2010. The midnight navy tone of the shoe also gives reference to Jordan's college history with the North Carolina Tar Heels. The shoe will retail at $170.

Based on photos shown on Bleacher Report, the Air Jordan 13 Low "Hornets" features the distinct white tumbled leather upper and white pods along the midsole. Instead of the hologram eye found on the ankle area, there is a silver Jumpman logo. The side panels, tongue and back of the shoe are midnight navy. The Jumpman logo on the tongue is turquoise blue, as well as the Jordan tab at the bottom of the tongue. The shoelaces are midnight navy and the insole and sock liner are white. The low top sneaker features a very fresh and sleek design, making it ideal for casual use. Smaller players might also enjoy using the basketball shoe on court, with its great cushioning and fit.
